Codorniu makes its wines from the grape varieties that grow best in the region, such as Parellada, Xarello, Macabeo and Chardonnay. On blending, each of the various varieties gives Codorniu its own particular characteristics. The most modern wine making technology is used in making the wines, while remaining faithful to the traditional Champagne method.
